June 3rd, 2018: Bednar, Birthday, Blessings!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been super bad with emailing every week! Last week we played Zone kickball so I lost time emailing! But I will recap on that last two weeks!

On the 22nd, Elder Bednar came to Cambodia! He spent 3 hours in the morning just with us missionaries and we all got to shake his hand after! It was one of those fangirl moments when I didn't want to wash my hand for a month, because Elder Bednar has been one of favorite apostles since I was really young. It was amazing to see the way he interacted with us and the way the Spirit taught all of us.
The 23rd was my birthday!! I am no longer a teenager everyone! 20 definitely doesn't feel any different than 19 but it is weird now when I go contacting and I tell people I am 20 years old. It doesn't flow as well as 19 did haha.
The 24th I hit my one year mark! Literally had a panic attack because I can't figure out where the last year went, and the realization that I only have 6 months left is scaring me to death.
We had our training meeting last week for Sister Um and it was super fun to spend the night at the mission home and be with the Christensens as they are preparing to go home! I cant believe this is my last transfer with President and Sister C!
This week we went on an exchange to Takhmao and it was so fun seeing the members there and catching up! i miss Takhmao so much!
This week has been really hard with our investigators and recent converts. We have had a lot of disappointments and things fall through, but something that I have been praying for a lot is miracles to happen in our branch. We missed sacrament meeting yesterday because a shard of glass popped my bike tire, and when we did show up, none of our investigators came to church because it was pouring raining. I was feeling pretty terrible about life, but when church ended, a girl walked up to us and said "Sister I came to church today and i want to learn about Jesus" I hadent noticed her the entire time we were at church and she had come all by herself. Miracle. It makes me so happy that God is watching over all His children and is aware of our hardest times and is constantly preparing those who are ready to hear about the Gospel!
