I'm sorry, I have been the the WORST with sending my mass
email lately! I wish I had a good excuse but I don't really. Just laziness
:)
So let me update you all on the last three/four weeks (how
long has it been?)
On June 10th, I was on my way to my last interview with our beloved
mission president and wife (who go home TODAY) and my bag was stolen write out
of my lap by some punk teenage kid on a motorcycle who sped away so fast we
couldn't catch him. I had A LOT of valuables in my bag so I am still a little
depressed from losing it but I am fine. Just slowly replacing things! My camera
was one of the things stolen so I also have no pictures to send...
We had our last Zone Conference with President and Sister
Christensen that week as well and it was the best but the worst! They have
seriously been the best mission president and wife for this mission the last
three years, and I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to serve with them
the last 8 transfers! They leave today and our new mission president and wife,
President and Sister Lewis, come as well! I am excited for them to start their
mission here!
The last three weeks, my companion has been extremely sick
and has been throwing up every single day. After several doctor visits and
different medications, we still have not been able to figure out what is wrong
with her. Please keep Sister Um in your prayers so she can feel better and we
can get out and proselyte in our area and help others to come unto Christ!!
Last Sunday, we had a baptism! Ranit was so happy at her
baptism and the spirit was SO STRONG. Her younger sister, who we have been
trying to work with for a while, also came to the baptism! We are hoping that
soon she will also want to learn so they will be able to support each other in
following the gospel!
