Hi Maile. How are you? I wanted to send you some snapshot updates of
your friends. It looks like Kenzie and Matt are hot and heavy. Mikayla
and Kimball are also pretty "ON", and so are Ethan and Ashlynn, very
"ON"...according to social media. lol Hopefully these pics don't make
you too sad or trunky, I just thought you'd like the update.
I went to stake conference today with Taryn, it was pretty good. I
really like President Hansen. Two weeks ago he asked me about you and
wanted to know if I knew that you and Ethan were writing. (I'm not
exactly sure why he wanted me to know)
I am putting one last package together to send to you. Is there
anything you need? It's nothing big, just a few things that might make
you trunky, so I'll wait to sent it. I am sending Kanika a little
something from Arizona as a thank you for sending me pictures. :)
There was a ground breaking ceremony yesterday morning at the new stake
center. It will be built next to Haley elementary, construction starts
tomorrow. They said it will take 12-14 months to complete.
Okay, I made the craziest connection this week. I am friends with
Sister Stewarts mom on facebook. She had reposted a family picture that
was taken a few years ago. It was taken in Star Valley, WY. I asked
her what her connection to Star Valley is and she said her in laws
purchased 600 acres of land up there in the 60's and developed STAR
VALLEY RANCH. Sister Stewarts grandparents own it. I told her the I
have spent every summer up there since I was 8 years old and that you've
been up there every summer of your life too. They're also up there all
the time. I'm sure our paths have crossed many times! We both
wondered if you and sister Stewart ever made that connection. When I
described to her mom where our cabin was, she said she knew exactly
where it is. Such a small world.
I have downloaded most of the pictures on the dropbox, so you can delete
them if you need to. You look soooo pretty in your pictures. Your
smile makes my heart a little lighter. I love you!
Hi mom! Dang all these relationships are making me feel weird haha and
making me a little bit (actually really) trunky. but its fine i just
need to push through the next threeish months and then ill be home. Im
still emailing Mackenzie and mikayla almost every week and they seem
like they are both so happy with their men haha. Ya ethan and i emil
every eek but he recently has been talking a lot about Brielle Hatch
so i think he is into her but now sure. i wrote him a letter a while
back and he is writing me one now so we will see.
I literally cant think of anything i need. i actually saw the phillips
yesterday and they were saying how now it would be way convenient for
you to send packages because we are in the same church building but i
was like i dont know what my mom could even send me at this point
since im so close to being finished! but look at you coming up with
something hahaha im super excited to get it! but maybe waiting until
later would be best if it will make me trunky ;) lol
Thats so exciting about the stake center!!! you will be able to walk
to church :)
Sister Stewart and I actually have talked about star valley a ton and
both said we will hang out up there together after the mission haha.
she really is my best friwend in the mission besides sister jennings
(now Taylor) and i am so pumped to hang out after the mission.
I love you mom!! Some days i get way trunky and others i never want to
leave cambodia and emotions are just going to get higher and higher
the closer i get to going home. I am so excited for my new life but
never want to leave the one i have now and the people ihave become so
close with. but i will have to come to terms with is at some point!! I
LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
