August 12th, 2018: CKM

I am so happy to be serving in CKM with Sister Eckman! We are already having so much fun together and our area is amazing, so far i love everything about this transfer. This week we got a new investigator who contacted us and learned about a year ago with the sisters and just now decided it was her time to learn again, and now she wants to be baptized! We are so excited to be working with her and our other investigators. One cool part of our week was we went to go teach one of our really poor investigators who is the mother of two small children. when we showed up, her entire right side of her face was cut and stitched because she had fallen on her moto. She was in a lot of pain and had no money to pay for any medication or medical care. I was able to testify to her about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and explain that He knows exactly how she feels and can take her pain away if she will only come unto Him. It was a very tender moment for me and she wept like a baby. I am so lucky I get to share about our Savior and His Atonement every day!
This week we were asked by our leaders to pray over our area and leave a special blessing on it. I really feel like God is going to prepare those who are waiting for us here and He will help our investigators and members have opportunities to feel the Spirit so they can come closer to Christ.
I love being a missionary!! Sorry, Gospel Principle coming next week!

Love you all!!

Hi! So no real news....EXCEPT WE BOUGHT A JEEP!!! We needed a new family car since Hannah is taking the green truck to ASU (which you two will share when you get home), so we bought a Jeep. It’s an older one so not crazy nice, but it’s still awesome. Oh, and Dad turned 43 on the 8th. :)

How is your new area and companion? I hope all is well and your having a very positive experience.
