Subject: Lunar Eclipse!
Hey
everyone! I don't know if any of you guys could see the lunar eclipse being on
the other side of the world, and I have no google to check, but we saw it and
it was so cool! It was rough because our english class shrunk in size that day
because everyone was outside the church looking at it. I'll attach a picture I
got before I went to bed.
This
week was seriously so awesome! Rotana was interviewed for baptism this weekend
and passed! We are so excited! Also, one of our investigators we got last week,
Cheng Ey, is literally amazing. I have never taught or even met someone that
has ever understood doctrine the way she does. We taught the Plan of Salvation
in three 1 hour lessons because we got into such deep things and she understood
everything. We tried something different when we taught her the Plan of
Salvation and taught solely using scriptures to teach each point, and it was
amazing the affect it had on her. The scriptures are so powerful; someone can
be taught a certain principle in the gospel a million times and not feel the
Spirit of Truth like they feel when being taught from the scriptures. I know
that the Book of Mormon is true and literally changes lives!!
I
hope everyone has an amazing safe week, and will cherish the Book of Mormon a
little bit more in their lives this week. If you have the time, read what our
living prophets have said this last General Conference about the power of the
Book of Mormon. It is mentioned in almost every single talk so it's hard to
miss. I love you all and am so grateful for all the emails of support I get
each week! You are all amazing!
