Subject: Conference!
Hey everyone!
This week was
transfers and I am now with Sister Soeur in Keansvay (means: mango corner)! We
have had a lot of fun together and the best part of the week was that we were
able to listen to Conference! Even though the power went out in our church for
over 5 hours, we were able to figure it all out and go to a different church to
watch it :) I am so grateful that President Nelson is our new prophet, and I
sustain him as God's chosen prophet, seer, and revelator for this day. I am so
grateful for all the words that were shared and the Spirit I felt confirming
all the truths of the Gospel! I am so blessed to be a member of The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and receive all the blessings of Christ's
restored Gospel on the earth! I love that the focus in this conference was on
serving and ministering to others the way the Savior would. I love that as we
learn to see others the way God sees them and serve them with all our hearts,
we are becoming truer and more deliberate disciples of our Savior, Jesus
Christ, which is the whole reason we are here on this earth. To follow our
Savior and become like Him. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I thank God
every single day for His Son, who performed His Atonement for me and every
single one of us.
I
hope we will all be able to continue to cherish the words that were spoken in
this conference, because I know it is exactly what God would have us hear at
this time.
