February 25th, 2018: TAKHMAO!!

Subject: TAKHMAO!!
Hey everyone!!

Just if you were wondering, Takhmao translated in english means black grandpa. I think its awesome haha :) Whitewashing is really fun but really hard! Our area is suffering a little bit in investigators but we are doing our best the get to know the area and find new investigators! Other than that, Takhmao is the best! the branches here are like America, it was kind of weird! I felt like I was sitting in a ward council meeting yesterday in my home ward except for the fact that the whole thing was in Khmer! Our district is way awesome, and 5 out of 6 of us are brand new to the area, the other Elders in branch 1 are white washing as well! Crazy! President Christensen must either hate us or really trust us!
I hit my nine month mark on the mission on the 24th, and hit my half way mark this upcoming week! I seriously cannot believe how fast the time is going. It feels like I just entered the MTC!
Sister Khit also leaves tomorrow for the England MTC and we are so stoked for her! We were so sad we only got to spend a week with her but so grateful she finally got her visa and now gets to go serve in Manchester! We will miss her so much!
Sorry I don't have a lot of time but I just want you all to know how much I love and appreciate each one of you for how hard you are all working at home to build up the Kingdom of God, in whatever place you are. Ward leaders and members that perform their responsibilities well make the biggest difference in helping God's work to go forth. Especially in helping the missionaries! This week maybe make an extra effort to better serve in your ward calling, or find a potential investigator to give to the missionaries to find the true happiness that comes from the Gospel! You are all amazing!! Love you all!
