Today
is the day everyone!
I
leave for the airport in just over 2 hours and I could not be more excited!! I
have learned so much here at the MTC and will cherish every second I
experienced. Six hours in a classroom each day is not what someone would call
fun, but we were so blessed with amazing teachers and friends that made it
worth it. I had an amazing Branch Presidency that loved and cared for me, an
awesome zone, and a great district. I have made so many friends that I hope to
keep even after I leave.
I
want everyone to know that I know this church is the true church of Jesus
Christ on the earth today. I would not be sacrificing 18 months of my life to
live in a crazy foreign country, leave the comforts of my home, and leave my
family behind if I did not know for a surety that it is true. I know that Jesus
Christ loves each and every single one of us, and has a plan for us in this
life and the life to come. I know that the Book of Mormon is God's word, and
that is was translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that God loves all
of us so much that he allowed His son, Jesus Christ, to be the Savior of the
world and suffer for each and every one of our sins. I know that through Jesus
Christ and His Atonement, all men can be saved and find lasting Joy and
happiness. I know that God is watching over me as I am about to embark on the
craziest journey of my life, and I know that His Spirit is guiding me to the
people that are ready and waiting to hear the gospel. I love my Savior and I
love His gospel!!
If
any of you feel like you are struggling, need guidance, or peace in your life
right now, I challenge you to read the Book of Mormon and pray to your Heavenly
Father. It is such a simple act of faith to do these things, and I know that
each and every one of you will be blessed if you put your trust in God and the
plan He has for you. Keep the Spirit in your heart always, and I promise that
you will never be led astray.
I
love all of you so much and want to thank every one of you for all the love and
support I have been shown the last two months! You are all so amazing, and I
can't wait to share my experiences with you all for the next 16 months!! The
next time I email I will be in Cambodia!!

Thanks Jensen Family for the donuts!! You're the best!! I will definitely need
all the help I can get Asian squatting for the next year and a half :) (If I
didn't already say it in a previous email, I have discovered it is physically
impossible for me to Asian squat. Everyone at home should try and see if you
can do it!)
