Hello everyone!
This
week was literally insane and I dont know where to start.
We
went to Battambang on our exchange and i was with Sister Davis (mtc comp)! We
had a blast! Also, Ming Mao and Lihsa were baptized on Saturday!! Satan tried
his very hardest for her to not come but God always wins! Even with two flat
moto tires on the way and her husband being scheduled with a different shift at
work, she only showed up 20 minutes late and everything went great! We are so
excited for their family and hope her husband will want to learn too!
This
week for p-day e went to the floating villages and it was so cool and
beautiful. We also tried to get a jumping picture with Dana and our tuk tuk
driver by the lake and were were laughing so hard. If there is anything that we
did all week, it was laugh a ton. I might have lost a pound or two that I have
gained from eating so much rice!
I
finally mustered up the courage to eat a cricket. It tasted like a potato chip.
I think next time I will eat a tarantula.
My
companion told me that the last few nights I have speaking khmer in my sleep!
This is seriously one of the best accomplishments ever.
I
hope you all have the best Thanksgiving this week and remember what you are
grateful for! We are all so blessed in the United States and it is hard to see
that until you see the way others live. Remember to always have an attitude of
gratitude!
Love
you all!
